Weapons: 6 of appropriate time-

	HK USP Tactical:
		Handgun, 10/2/15+1
(If possible I'd like to get
		the silencer and rail-mount
		flashlight for that gun.
If not, we'll call it a USP
Match, which has the same stats
		but looks cooler :)

	HK MP-7 PDW:
		SMG, 10/3/40
		(340mm long with the
		stock closed! It's tiny!)
		http://world.guns.ru/smg/smg49-e.htm

	Throwing Knives:
		Basically the knife-style
		shuriken rather than the
		star-shaped kind; same stats
		but less Japanese :)

	S&W Special Ops Knife:
		Basically just a knife with
slots so you can lash it to a
		pole for a makeshift spear;
		mine won't have the stupid
lettering on the side, though :P
		It's supposed to be black;
the picture on this site has
		spazzed out colors:

	Gum: Two-edged Korean sword.
Bong: Staff with a cooler name.

Archetype: Ninja

Background

22 yrs. old, 5'6" tall, 155 pounds
black hair, black eyes, mixed Sino-Korean descent.

Rain is, unusually for action heroes, a remarkably well-adjusted young man. He loves his family, comes from a reasonably well-to-do background, and has no major emotional problems to speak of. He helps out at a local martial-arts school, assisting the teacher while he ostensibly makes up his mind what to do with the rest of his life.

Rain is a remarkably proficient Kuk Sool Won practitioner, and makes a good assistant, having both an encyclopedic knowledge of martial tradition (which endears him to the teacher) and being a young, likable and easygoing sort (which works on the students). The school doesn't teach KSW, that being a Korean style and most students these days interested in kung fu or Thai kickboxing, but Rain's facility for martial arts makes him a fine teaching assistant regardless of style.

Rain's parents are executives in Xiao Chu Limited, a small outsourcing and consulting firm in the Victoria area of Hong Kong.

Predictably for action heroes, however, this is a cover.

Rain Xiao is a ninja.

More specifically, he is a Sulsa, a Korean "Knight of the Night," a sub-branch of the ancient Hwarang knightly order similar to Japanese ninja but without the social stigma. Xiao Chu is a front company for a neutral organization in the HK underworld, a clearinghouse for Triads and gangsters to contract out dirty deeds (though emphatically not done dirt cheap, sorry Angus) that cannot be traced back.

His family proudly traces their lineage back to the ancient Hwarang, and to this day Xiao Chu selects contracts based upon that order's strict code of honor. The entire executive level of the company is part of the extended clan family.

His Chinese father is a "face" for the company, screening the clients and selecting those who pass the code. His Korean mother, no longer a Sulsa, is now an in-house trainer, although XC Ltd. does occasionally provide training contracts. (It was his mother, in fact, who taught him how to shoot a gun.) His grandfather has been his primary master, teaching him the traditional martial arts as well as the arts of intrusion, deception and stealth.

This environment may have a lot to do with Rain's relative well-adjustment. The occupation of Sulsa has traditionally been a fully respectable one in Korea as part of the Hwarang order, and his family is successful, stable, and prosperous. Even the Xiao Chu building has good feng shui.

Rain doesn't see anything wrong with what he does. It's exciting work, it pays well, and he only has to kill people that really deserve it.
