(OOC) Wed Apr 4 1901 07:49 PM by "Safix" at "Arcana City Park" (OOC)

    Arcana City Park
The Arcana City Park is a natural area of relaxation and recreation for the residents of the city. The park is carpeted in lush green grass and ringed by large, old trees. It is unclear exactly how this park is able to exist so far from the sun, but it is an extension of the EIF gardens and the Elves are often fingered as the cause. There is a huge fountain in the center of the park and marble benches are scattered here and there. Near the fountain stands a memorial 'stone'.

Safix stands a shade under 5 feet tall. Her clean skin is deep golden, against which her arched white eyebrows and thick lashes stand in sharp contrast. Her shaggy white hair falls manelike around her face to touch her shoulders at the longest points, and the sides are tucked behind her delicately pointed ears, revealing three small, slim silver rings piercing the lower part of each, and a fourth ring at each tip. Green eyes with a narrow circle of red around each pupil look back at you from her triangular, sharp-featured face. She's wearing a dark red tunic today, loosely belted with black cloth, over tight black pants tucked into black leather boots laced to the knee. A simple band of silver chainmail circles her throat.

Her gown is wondrous, yet at the same time unsettling. It is undeniably beautiful in a forbidden sense, for truth should not be so bold in detail. Made of dyed silks of blues and grays (those becoming darker as they layer), colors fade into one another like a winter sky, along the bodice....layers of these, five visible. First a slip dress, studded so faintly with crystal gems. Upon this yet another sleeved layer, the studding upon it seeming abstract from the former garment, yet it forms a draping over the slip directly. The third silk half-dress falls diagonally across her form, thusly patterned, abstract from the first two, but it now becomes a visible arrangement... a sudden apparent pattern. Another shorter dress like the former is cut higher, studded as all before it, on the same diagonal. Lastly, the robe. It is the essence of her ensemble. So sheer that it conceals not even the innermost gem buried far deep in the silks, it is long, to the floor, folding in on itself in many creases, attesting to it Therefore she is concealed neck to silver-slippered toe in the night sky, in heart-stopping accuracy. Each layer is the distance and endless dimensions of heaven, the outermost glittering gems seeming as the closest stars. The striking beauty of her delicate features only adds to the quiet power she radiates. Framed by thick black lashes, her eyes are an intensely dark emerald hue, iridescent flecks of gold standing out in sharp contrast as a veritable burst outward from her pupils. A faint blush plays on her cheeks, contrasting softly on her smooth skin like a rose petal kissing new fallen snow. Her lips are full, glossed lightly with a sheer wine-colored tint. Long golden curls fall loose and untamed over her shoulders to her waist, the thick tresses glittering with a metallic shine. The hood of her outermost robe is down, but even still, small binding clasps within her hair are studded with the same gems as her gown, taking on the completion of the constellations upon her back as her tresses hang down over her dress. She embodies the heavens, embraced by starlight. The effect is nothing short of arcane.

Cynergy stands over by the fountain. Her head is down, but fingers rest and trace idly over the memorial that already exists for those who lost their lives in the Unhuman Wars. Very few are in the area now, perhaps because she cuts such a strange presence.

Safix strolls into the park, face pensive, feet bare, black boots in one hand... she sees Cyn and pauses, before the hair looks familiar and she comes closer, peering for a face...

Safix approaches the fountain. "...Cyn?" she says, hesitantly.

Cynergy's head lifts a bit. Her inhalation can barely be seen, but she catches scent, and she turns, smiling gently at Safix, nodding, "Good evening, Saf."

Safix steps up to the fountain, smiling. "It's not a bad one, no. Same to you."

Safix tilts her head at you slightly. "That's a gorgeous dress. I think I'd break it if I tried to wear something like that, but you just look elegant and regal and /right/. What's the occasion?"

Cynergy nods, looking down once more at the stone before stepping away from it. She gathers her robe around her more closely and smiles a bit. "Years ago I was the student of an archmage. These are my robes. But thank you for the compliment. I just didn't feel right wearing my EIN uniform any longer. Considering..."

Safix laughs, an open, innocently happy sound. "I didn't realize mage robes were allowed to be sexy. Maybe magic's more interesting than I thought... pity I haven't the talent."

Cynergy blinks at that, "This.. is sexy?" the tone of her voice carried enough disbelief... "But no one is watching what you're wearing when fingers are moving."

Safix looks pensive, chewing her lip for a second. "Kern says I /could/ learn to power a helm, but..."

Safix looks back up. "Of course it is! Oh... but I guess you're right. I suppose one wouldn't be looking at the garment very much if the person in it was inclined to cast fireballs if she didn't feel like being complimented." She giggles faintly.

Cynergy smiles slowly, one corner of her mouth rising more than the other. "Then you should learn such. But what? You believe you'll be happy always making things of metal? If you have the capacity within you, then take advantage of it." To your last she smirks more, "I'm sorry, I suppose I just don't take compliments well, nor do I think of myself as sexy." The intense way she's looking at you might mean she has something to ask you, but she's keeping her tongue for the moment.

Safix says, "Eh, I am happy making things, period... it's relaxing and enjoyable."

Safix says, "I'm curious about magic, but it's really not that important. I really wanted to learn to fly a helm, but as it turned out, something came up that was better."

Safix grins faintly, eyes sparkling.

Cynergy raises a brow, smiling a little, "Not the jewelry, then?"

Safix grins, a faint blush on her cheeks, "Not the jewelry."

Safix looks around the park, checking for anybody else, and finds it completely clear, for a miracle...

Cynergy grins then, "Looking for him?"

Safix says, grinning, "I'll show you if I can get it right... I'm still not very good at starting it yet..."

Safix blushes harder and chuckles, "No... but it's more related than it could be. Watch..."

Cynergy blinks, not having been correct at her guess, apparently. "Show me, then?"

Safix climbs onto the fountain rim, grinning impishly-- and keeping an eye out for strangers-- and steps lightly onto the water collected in its base.

Cynergy's eyes widen, indeed.

Safix giggles, standing on the surface for a moment, then steps daintily up through the air to 'stand' atop the fountain's crest, the bottoms of her feet getting wet. She peers down and waves, eyes sparkling.

Cynergy giggles, loving that, for some reason. "How simply charming!"

Safix calls softly, "Hope it's deep enough to dive..." and swan-dives off the top of the fountain in a very controlled glide, does a loop back up that completely disregards gravity, and lands sedately beside you on the ground again. She looks as happy as a puppy.

Safix sparkles, "/That/ is why I don't mind not being able to run a helm..."

Safix beams at you.

Safix says, "Thank you! A one-trick pony I may be, but DAMN it's a fun trick!"

Cynergy cringes as you say you're going to dive, raising her arms to stop you. But you're too fast, and your movements have her jaw positively dropped down. She's speechless.

Safix bounces happily in place. "Of course, now I'm hungry..."

Cynergy nods, not quite thinking of anything but seeing Saf do that again and again in her mind. "Alright then..."

Safix adds, "Not very hungry, just munchy. If I fly for a long time, then I'm ravenous."

Safix makes a face... "Kern said the spell feeds off my personal energy. But if I eat, we're agreed it should do no harm. Shall we, to the Path?"

Cynergy nods, moving away with Safix out of the park, "Well, we'll get something then before it gets too late. If I keep standing here I think I'll start trying to do that trick, myself. incredibly impressive...Saf."

Cynergy nods, walking out with you.
