Aliases: "

say <message>

The say command allows you to talk in to the room.

This command is often replaced by a more capable program, which would render this documentation inaccurate.

Usage:

say <message>

<message> - message to say aloud

Description:

The say command allows you to talk in to the room.

When you use say, you will see:

You say, "<message>"

Everyone else in the room will see:

<your-name> says, "<message>"

Starting a line with a " is the same as using say.

This command is often replaced by a more capable program, which would render this documentation inaccurate.

Example:

If Fred issues the command:

say Hi there!

He will see:

You say, "Hi there!"

Everyone else in the room will see:

Fred says, "Hi there!"

Starting a line with a quotation mark (") is an alias for the say command. If Fred had used this command:

"Hi there!

the results would have been exactly the same.

Results:

Messages said to the room.

Errors:

None.
